While our goal is to protect your teeth, there are cases where our best and only option for maintaining your oral health is tooth extraction.
If a tooth has been broken or damaged by decay, Dr. Crane may recommend fixing it with a filling or crown. However, when there’s too much damage for the tooth to be repaired, the tooth may need to be extracted (removed)
If our skilled dentist finds that removing a tooth is necessary, we know that you will most likely have concerns and questions about the procedure. Will it hurt? Which dentist will perform the procedure? Should you take a day off from work or school to rest and recover? Can you consider tooth replacement options like partial dentures, dental implants, or dental bridges?

- Before your dental surgery appointment, we will provide patients with the tooth replacement options that best fits the individual’s situation. After the procedure, our staff will give thorough verbal and written instructions for the days to come after a dental surgery procedure while also supplying any necessary medications and work/school excuses.
